Originally breaking into the country music scene with his debut album Long Black Train in 2003, Turner has since solidified his status as a staple in the genre. The Platinum- certified album sold nearly 1.5 million copies, and its title track has amassed over 275 million global streams. His latest project, This Country Music Thing (MCA Records), debuted in the Top 10 on the Country Albums chart and has already generated 10 million global streams. The album features standout tracks like “Two Steppin’ On The Moon”, which earned Turner an invitation to perform for NASA astronauts from Houston’s Johnson Space Center and “Unsung Hero,” a moving tribute to his WWII veteran grandfather performed on NBC’s TODAY show for Veterans Day.
